Starting off the year,
students used a photo of themselves to be the starting point of lines and
pattern that show motion. This is a great project because the kids love seeing
their own faces on their artwork!
Printmaking in the USA
Following the step by step process of printmaking, artists created a decorate print of a United States symbol to align with their social studies unit learning about the 50 states.

Reproduction of artists work
Art Exhibition for family and friends will be on May 10th. Awards ceremony will be held in the theater at 5:00pm and exhibition to follow in the art center.
All 4th graders are REQUIRED to attend and present their artwork and keynote presentation.
Have fun and dress like your artist to earn extra credit!
